At GroomVeil, we take copyright protection very seriously and comply fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). When we receive a legitimate and properly formatted DMCA takedown request, we will promptly act to remove or restrict access to the allegedly infringing material. In accordance with legal guidelines, a copy of the takedown request, which may include the copyright owner’s contact details, may be forwarded to the user who posted the content so they can understand the claim and, if appropriate, respond.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your content has been removed or access to it has been disabled as a result of a misidentification or error, you have the legal right to submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notice must include:

• A clear identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which it appeared prior to removal.
• Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• A declaration that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area (or, if outside the U.S., to any appropriate U.S. jurisdiction), and that you agree to accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their authorized agent.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Once we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may reinstate the content in question.
